With over 15 years of experience as an international lawyer across several European and East Asian countries, Harald focuses on legal aspects of European Union law to facilitate trade and investment between Malaysia and the European Union. He practices out of Kuala Lumpur and a is a Visiting Professor at Keio University (Tokyo, Japan) and an Adjunct Professor at Universitas Padjadjaran (Bandung, Indonesia).
The main focus of Harald's work is in international supply chains, which are shaped more and more by legislation with extraterritorial effect, such as the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) or the Cross-Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
